Warrior’s Cage Africa Delivers Breakout Talent at Nairobi Fight Night
Nairobi, Kenya — October 2025
Warrior’s Cage Africa, one of East Africa’s longest-running small promotions, returned to Nairobi this month with a card that highlighted the rapidly rising talent across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Held inside the Sarit Expo Centre, the event leaned heavily into East African rivalries—a formula that proved effective. The main event featured Kenya’s Solomon “The Hunter” Muriuki against Uganda’s grappling specialist Patrick Kasumba. Muriuki delivered a stunning spinning-back-fist knockout in the second round, instantly making him a viral name across African combat sports social media.
The promotion also debuted two female bouts, marking a key moment in Warrior’s Cage history. Promoters announced afterward that they intend to build a full women’s division by 2026.
While African MMA is still growing structurally, events like this show that the talent level is rising fast—and the fanbase is hungry for more.
