Parnasse’s dominance at KSW 106 shows European MMA’s brightest star is still rising

Salahdine Parnasse added another signature win to his growing résumé on 29 Aug 2025, when the KSW featherweight champion moved up to lightweight and stopped former titleholder Marian Ziółkowski. Headlining KSW 106 in Łódź, Poland, the 26‑year‑old Frenchman weathered Ziółkowski’s early kicks before dragging him to the canvas, passing guard and unleashing a torrent of elbows and punches. Referee Maciej Brzostowski waved off the bout late in the second round as Parnasse rained down blows, sealing a TKO at 3:54 and becoming a rare two‑division KSW champion.

Parnasse’s performance underscored why many observers view him as Europe’s top non‑UFC prospect. “The Predator” remained composed under Ziółkowski’s long‑range attacks, used crisp footwork to close distance and seamlessly mixed takedowns with ground‑and‑pound. It was a far cry from their first meeting in 2022, when Ziółkowski fought through an injured knee to eke out a decision and hand Parnasse his lone professional loss. This time, Parnasse’s dominance was complete; he out‑struck Ziółkowski 42–8 and never allowed the Pole back to his feet.

With his latest belt in hand, Parnasse now holds KSW’s featherweight and lightweight titles simultaneously and boasts a 19‑1 record. He called for a shot at the promotion’s welterweight crown after the fight, teasing a run at triple‑champion status. Given his blend of speed, grappling and fight IQ, such an accomplishment no longer seems far‑fetched. For Europe’s fast‑growing MMA scene, Parnasse’s rise provides a home‑grown superstar capable of filling arenas and drawing global attention.

KSW 106 also produced several other memorable finishes. Former Olympic wrestler Damian Janikowski was flattened by 40‑year‑old Laïd Zerhouni in just 1:54 of round 1, as the French veteran landed a crushing right hook and follow‑up punches. Former Brave CF champion Amin Ayoub returned from a long layoff to outpoint Mickaël Lebout in a tactical lightweight bout. On the undercard, French prospect Alioune Nahaye scored a spectacular flying‑knee TKO of Piotr Kacprzak, while welterweight Mateusz Makarowski stopped Tarik Zhiyentayev with body kicks. The night’s results showed KSW’s depth of European talent and set the stage for more cross‑divisional match‑ups in the months ahead.
